Our client is seeking an experienced Office Manager to join their team in Cranbourne South, Victoria.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assigning and delegating tasks to staff members and supervising their performance, providing guidance whenever necessary to ensure that the work is completed on time effectively and efficiently.
Contributing to the development and evaluation of office services, setting priorities and establishing service standards to ensure optimal efficiency and performance.
Managing the deployment of human resources, office space and equipment to ensure that the office is well-equipped to meet its objectives and needs.
Handling office records and financial documents to ensure everything is properly maintained and organised for accuracy and compliance.
Coordinating with external professionals to manage business office-related business, facilitating the resolution of any issues that may arise.
Overseeing various aspects of personnel activities, such as recruitment, promotions, performance evaluations, payroll training and supervision to maintain a well-functioning and motivated workforce.
Ensuring that office operations comply with relevant government legislation, policies, procedures, keeping the office aligned with legal and regulatory standards.
Ensuring that the office adheres to occupational health and safety regulations to maintain a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.
Requirements:
Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma or higher in relevant field
At least three (3) years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed
Minimum one (1) year of experience as an Office Manager
A background in professional services such as Accounting is preferred
