Position: Carpenter

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $80,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation per annum

Location: Homebush West NSW 2140

Our client Nexus Construction Group Pty Ltd is looking for a skilled carpenter to work on all the carpentry projects. From commercial projects to residential renovations to retails office fit outs. The carpenter will be performing the following tasks:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret civil plans and drawings with accuracy.
• Construct concrete elements, including creating and laying timber edging.
• Ensure precise detailing and completion of timber edging sections.
• Install timber edging on various projects.
• Build framing and complete second fix tasks to a high-quality standard.
• Collaborate with other on-site trades to meet project deadlines.
• Adhere to company standards and prioritize Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S).
• Work independently while being a reliable team member.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and take pride in the quality of work.
• Display creative problem-solving skills to address non-standard construction challenges.
• Possess excellent communication and time management abilities.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and driven with a proactive attitude.
• Maintain a positive, team-oriented mindset.
• Always show reliability and punctuality.
• Flexibility to work varied hours as needed.

Requirements:

• Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or Certificate IV in Carpentry
• At least two (2) years of relevant experience as a Carpenter
• White card
• Must have a valid Driver Licence.
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools
• Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials.
