Our client Ausmotels Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated Motel Manager to lead all operational aspects of the motel property. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day activities, manage staff, and ensure excellent customer service standards.

Ausmotels Pty Ltd is a comfortable, conveniently located motel catering to both business and leisure travellers. Situated along a major transport route, it provides easy access to the city’s main attractions, local dining, shopping, and entertainment venues. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements.
• Monitor daily operations to maintain high service and quality standards.
• Create work schedules, delegate tasks, and resolve conflicts to maintain a harmonious work environment.
• Uphold high customer service standards by addressing guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly.
• Prepare and manage budgets, track expenditures, and oversee revenue management activities.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping for reservations, billing, and other administrative tasks.
• Enforce health, safety, and security protocols across the facility.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure all facilities meet required standards.
• Maintain up-to-date records of compliance and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• At least three (3) years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed
• Minimum four (4) years of experience as a Motel Manager
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
